District 4 detectives are investigating a shooting at Bailey and N. Garrison. It appears a 14-year-old accidentally shot his 16-year-old friend while the duo attempted to carjack an adult man. The 16-year-old is stable at the hospital. The 14-year-old has been taken into custody. The adult man was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
